Alfonso gathered an amazing group of talented dancers and instructors in order to create a dance company which captures the energy of salsa, and brings a hot new style to the Vancouver salsa community. Bravo dance company consists of both a women's team and a couple's team.
By combining talent from many different performance styles, Bravo routines have a mixture of everything from Hip-Hop to Afro Cuban rhythms, and even jazz, and L.A style salsa. This style is fierce, fast, and aggressive; its got attitude, and brought on with an impressive amount of professionalism and showmanship. Alfonso has a great understanding of how to create the number one performance team because of his participation in worldwide competition. The Bravo Dance team has set out with amazing passion to bring recognition to the Vancouver salsa scene.
MAMBO TRIBE - Toronto, Canada This is the Mambo Tribe Salsa Dance Company. They feature a series multi-level salsa classes in Toronto. Classes are lead by Mark-Anthony and Stephanie, who together have 17+ years of teaching and performing with experience in the Canadian and International salsa circuit. Salsa classes will focus deeply on timing, technique, and turns & spins. Other classes feature hip up-to-date turn patterns, shines/footwork, body isolations and styling both On1 & On2.

Since 1978, the legendary Alberto Gomez and his family have been recognized as the frontiers of the Toronto Latin Entertainment industry. They have done this by using their love and passion for dance and performance. Their talent has been showcased at Massey Hall for a Tito Puente and Johnny Pacheco Concert, a Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz concert, and a Tango Vive production. This raw energy and passion have been passed on to Albert J. Gomez and Ronald Gomez.
Albert has a vision of showcasing the Latin culture in North American and abroad. He started the Strickly Salsa Dance Company in 1999 so he could merge his obsession with the high energy salsa dancing with his love for music and entertaining.
Albert organized an amazing team of talented dancers in the city to attend and participate in the 2000 Salsa Convention in Los Angeles, California.
